1️⃣ Sentence का परिचय
शब्दों का ऐसा व्यवस्थित समूह जो एक पूर्ण अर्थ व्यक्त करता है, Sentence कहलाता है।
Ram plays cricket.
She is reading a book.
They went to school.
“school to goes he” → सामान्य English word order नहीं है।
“He goes to school.” → सही sentence structure.
2️⃣ Sentence के मुख्य Parts
सामान्य English sentence में मुख्यतः Subject और Predicate होते हैं।

3️⃣ Sentence के प्रमुख Types
Statement या information देता है।
Question पूछता है।
Order, request, advice आदि व्यक्त करता है।
Strong emotion व्यक्त करता है।
4️⃣ Assertive / Declarative Sentences
Assertive या Declarative Sentence किसी fact, information, opinion या statement को व्यक्त करता है।
Riya is a student.
They live in Agra.
Affirmative और Negative

5️⃣ Interrogative Sentences
जो sentence question पूछता है उसे Interrogative Sentence कहते हैं।
Do you play cricket?

Auxiliary + Subject + Main Verb ...?
6️⃣ Negative Sentences
Negative sentence में किसी कार्य, स्थिति या कथन के न होने को व्यक्त किया जाता है।

7️⃣ Imperative Sentences
Imperative Sentence का प्रयोग order, request, advice, instruction, warning या prohibition के लिए किया जा सकता है।

8️⃣ Exclamatory Sentences
Exclamatory Sentence strong feeling या emotion जैसे surprise, joy, sorrow, admiration आदि को व्यक्त करता है।
How beautiful the flower is!
What a great idea!

9️⃣ Word Order in English
English में शब्दों का क्रम बहुत महत्वपूर्ण है। Hindi की तुलना में English sentence में सामान्य word order अधिक fixed होता है।
Subject + Verb + Object
Subject → Ram
Verb → reads
Object → books
Adverbial Information
Place और time जैसे elements sentence के context के अनुसार अलग स्थानों पर आ सकते हैं।
They played cricket in the park yesterday.
🔟 Subject, Verb और Object का प्रयोग
Sentence को समझने के लिए सबसे पहले यह पहचानना उपयोगी है कि Subject कौन है, Verb क्या है और Object है या नहीं।

English में question बनाते समय auxiliary verb की भूमिका महत्वपूर्ण होती है।

Wh-Questions किसी विशेष information को जानने के लिए पूछे जाते हैं।

जिन questions का उत्तर सामान्यतः Yes या No में दिया जा सकता है, उन्हें Yes/No Questions कहा जाता है।
Answer: Yes, I do. / No, I don't.
Question: Is she ready?
Answer: Yes, she is. / No, she isn't.
Has he arrived? → Yes, he has.
Did they come? → No, they didn't.

Question Tag एक छोटा question होता है जो statement के अंत में confirmation या agreement के लिए लगाया जाता है।
He is a student, isn't he?
They play cricket, don't they?
She went there, didn't she?
Positive statement → Negative tag
Negative statement → Positive tag
I am late, aren't I?

Sentence Transformation में sentence का grammatical form बदला जाता है, जबकि मुख्य अर्थ को यथासंभव बनाए रखा जाता है।
Affirmative → Negative
He is not dishonest.
Statement → Question

Exclamatory → Assertive
It is a very beautiful flower.

Adjectives की Degrees of Comparison sentence usage में महत्वपूर्ण हैं।

Conditional sentences किसी condition और उसके possible result को व्यक्त करते हैं।
